The Gardens Between from Melbourne’s The Voxel Agents is a meditative, ethereal experience. The gorgeous hand-drawn visuals and orchestral score are simply wonderful and when you can get the game for free, you really should play it. Players will need to explore the massive, sprawling world of Hollownest, level up, unlock new abilities and skills, fight over 150 enemies and 40 bosses and more. With a robust 87 on Metacritic, Hollow Knight is a rare, must-play game. Available for Game Pass on PC, the Voidheart Edition includes the original game and four additional content packs. Part Metroidvania, part soulslike, Hollow Knight is an incredible video game. What’s left to say about Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight. Well, it’s billed as a strategy-shooter that “will test your wits as well as exercise your aim.” Holding a 75 on Metacritic, Void Bastards requires players to plan carefully, find the supplies they need to survive and finally, escape.įeaturing an incredible cel-shaded comic book style and some of the hardest gameplay in recent memory, Void Bastards is a great game to add to your collection. Other staff members at Blue Manchu are also ex-Irrational Games members. It’s easy to be inspired by those games when Void Bastards was created by ex-Irrational Games founder Jonathan Chey who served as director of System Shock 2 and BioShock.

Similar to the multiplayer in Journey, Ashen puts players together but it’s up to them to join them, fight together or ignore them and move on.įeaturing crafting, combat and plenty of enemies, IGN called Ashen, “Like a home away from home, Ashen feels both startlingly familiar and original.”Īvailable free on Xbox One for Game Pass subscribers, Ashen is just one of the local games available on the service. It includes “passive co-op” that sees players occasionally encounter others in the massive open-world. Described as a game about relationships and making connections, Ashen holds a 78 on Metacritic.

Unfortunately for you, Tydy vacuums suck the very air out of your lungs, making it hard to hang around. Although Tydy bots aren’t hostile, to them you’re just another dirty, dirty object to be vacuumed clean. Tydy vans roam the nebula dispensing neat-freak Tydy bots into every ship they visit.
